According to the most glorious leader's personal chef, the North Korean dictator really hated anchovies on his pizza. "He could never eat the pizza with anchovies." Not that we'll be utilizing this service anytime soon, but it turns out that if you're on the International Space Station and you want some pizza, you can satiate your craving with some Pizza Hut. Just don't expect it in 30 minutes or less. It makes sense that one of the biggest complaints (other than being shot at) about being in the middle of a war zone is missing the comforts of home, especially pizza. And it doesn't really make financial sense to ship pizzas to troops without a proper way to cook them - until now. In 2014, researchers at a US military lab in Massachusetts closed in on a recipe that would allow them to make a pizza that doesn't need to be refrigerated or frozen. One of the food engineers said, "You can basically take the pizza, leave it on the counter, packaged, for three years and it’d still be edible." Yum?- Photo:
