The Best Fast Food Tacos

The best fast food tacos are those tasty combinations of meats, veggies, and cheeses encased in either a soft tortilla or crispy corn shell available at everyone's favorite fast food and fast casual restaurants. Like the best fast food burritos, not all fast food tacos are created equal, and some are certainly a cut above the rest.

Tacos all usually involve wrapping a meat, usually beef, chicken, pork or fish, and a variety of vegetables, cheeses, and condiments in a soft or hard shell made from corn or flour. Their design makes them both portable and highly customizable. While there are few bad tacos, some fast food tacos strive to be above the rest with fresh toppings and bold flavors.

As a consistent leader in fast casual food, Chipotle also came in among the elite for their tacos, available in soft and crispy shell versions with the customer's choice of meats, salsas, and other toppings. Qdoba, Moe's Southwest Grill, and Baja Fresh all offer similar tacos in their fast casual restaurants. All have a commitment to quality and fresh ingredients, which put their offerings above the others.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, drive-thrus such as Taco Bell, Del Taco, and Green Burrito all have yummy tacos, available in various shells with meats and toppings, but do fall to the bottom of the rankings compared to those available at the top-rated fast food restaurants like Chipotle.
